Privacy Policy
Last updated: 06-14-26
This Privacy Policy describes how SuperTask, Inc. ("Super", "We", "Us", or "Our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when You use Super: The Flow State App (the "Service").
Super can be used entirely offline on Your device, or You can optionally sign in to back up data and use social features. When You sign in, most of Your task and profile content is protected with end-to-end encryption before it is stored in the cloud.
We do not sell Your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or monetize Your personal information, and We do not share it with data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties for their own commercial purposes.
1. Interpretation and Definitions
Account means a unique account created when You sign in with Apple and use Super's cloud features. Application refers to SuperTask, the software program provided by the Company. Company refers to SuperTask, Inc., 8 The Green, STE 14204 Dover, DE 19901.
Personal Data means information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. Service refers to the Application. You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
2. How You Can Use Super
Super supports two modes of use:
Offline use: If You choose to continue without signing in, Your tasks, settings, and app content remain on Your device. We do not receive Your task content in this mode.
Signed-in use: If You sign in with Apple, Super can back up and sync Your data through Our cloud infrastructure and enable social features such as friends, shared tasks, and leaderboards.
3. Information We Collect
The information We process depends on how You use Super.
Account and identity information: When You sign in with Apple, We receive authentication information from Apple and Firebase, such as a user identifier and, if You choose to share it, Your name and email address.
Profile information: If You use social features, You may provide a first name, last name, username, profile photo, and optional status message.
Task and app content: Your tasks, subtasks, notes, reminders, progress, settings, and related app data are stored on Your device. If You are signed in, this content is synced to the cloud.
Social and sharing data: If You use Social features, We process friend relationships, friend requests, leaderboard information, shared task access, and activity You choose to share with friends.
Device and delivery information: If You enable notifications or use sync across devices, We store device identifiers and push notification tokens so We can deliver alerts to Your devices.
Support communications: If You contact Us by email, We receive the information You choose to send.
4. End-to-End Encryption
Super is designed so that Your sensitive task and profile content is encrypted on Your device before it is uploaded to Our cloud service.
Task bodies, most profile details, notification content, and related synced payloads are stored as encrypted ciphertext. The encryption keys needed to read that content are controlled on Your devices and are not available to SuperTask in readable form.
Because of this design, We cannot read the contents of Your encrypted tasks or other encrypted personal content. Only You—and, where You explicitly share access, Your chosen friends—can decrypt and view that information.
Some non-content metadata is stored in readable form because it is required to operate the Service. This includes items such as account identifiers, usernames used for friend search, email-to-account lookup records for finding friends, friend request metadata, device tokens for push delivery, and encryption key material used to establish secure sharing.
5. How We Use Information
We use information We process to:
Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
Authenticate You and sync Your data across Your devices when You sign in
Enable social features such as friend search, friend requests, shared tasks, leaderboards, and Social activity
Deliver reminders, task alerts, and other notifications You request
Protect the security and integrity of the Service
Respond to support requests and legal obligations
6. What We Do Not Do
Super does not sell personal information. For clarity, We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.
We do not share personal information with data brokers, advertising networks, or other third parties so they can use it for their own marketing, profiling, or commercial purposes.
We do not use Your personal information for third-party advertising, and We do not build advertising profiles from Your activity in the Service.
We do not share Your encrypted task content with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their own marketing purposes.
When We use service providers such as Apple or Google Firebase to operate the Service, they process information only on Our behalf to provide hosting, authentication, storage, and notification delivery. That processing is not a sale of Your personal information.
7. How Information Is Shared
We may share information only in the limited circumstances below:
With friends You choose: If You add friends or share tasks, the information You choose to share—including all subtasks in a shared task—may be accessible to those friends through the Service.
With service providers: We use infrastructure providers such as Apple and Google Firebase to host authentication, cloud storage, and notification delivery. These providers process data on Our behalf to operate the Service.
For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or SuperTask.
Business transfers: If We are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Offline data remains on Your device until You delete it or remove the app.
Signed-in cloud data is retained while Your account is active so You can restore and sync Your information across devices.
You can delete Your account from within the Super app. When You do, Your cloud backup, profile, username, and associated cloud data are permanently removed, subject to limited retention We may be legally required to keep.
You can also request help with account deletion by contacting privacy@supertheapp.com.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where You live, You may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information We process, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
Because much of Your task content is end-to-end encrypted, We may be unable to access or provide readable copies of encrypted content that We do not hold the keys to decrypt.
To exercise Your rights, contact Us at privacy@supertheapp.com. We may need to verify Your identity before responding.
10. California Privacy Rights
If You are a California resident, You may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Super does not sell personal information, and Super does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
We have not sold or shared personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration in the preceding 12 months, and We do not have actual knowledge that We sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Because We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law, We do not offer a separate "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link. If You have questions about Your California privacy rights, contact Us at privacy@supertheapp.com.
11. International Users
If You are located outside the United States, Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Our service providers operate. By using the Service, You consent to this processing, subject to applicable law.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If You believe a child has provided Us with personal information, contact Us at privacy@supertheapp.com.
13. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including end-to-end encryption for sensitive synced content. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Links to Other Websites
The Service or Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that We do not operate. We encourage You to review the privacy policies of those third parties.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means.
